Paris Greeters - Discover Paris with a Parisian

A Paris Greeter will make sure you discover the true Paris, the way Parisians live it and love it! Paris Greeters are volunteers willing to share their knowledge of Paris in general and a specific neighbourhood in particular. They will take you to unusual and often hidden places, will tell you their history (and story!) and will give you tips on good places to go. All are volunteers and are Paris lovers who like to share the art, tradition and culture of this fascinating city. They will meet at a Métro station and at the end of the walk, they really want you to have the feeling that you have not only discovered the city but also had an insight into what we call the 'Parisian way of life'.

Paris Greeters are enthusiastic and friendly; they know Paris well and give their time freely so that you discover Paris as a friend would do. They all come from different environements: students, active workers, retirees, but they all are Parisians. Paris Greeters are are not guides, interpreters or graduate lecturers, but they lead groups of 6 people maximum (including children) for a 2 to 3 hour walk, in a interesting place, as suggested by your greeter.
