Among the highlights of the year, Ricard Foundation Prize for contemporary art is awarded by a jury of collectors to one of the most representative artists of his generation. The price is the purchase of a work to the winner, which is then offered at the Centre Pompidou and presented in its permanent collections.

In 2009, the Centre Pompidou pays tribute to this private initiative to enrich its collections for 10 years with the exhibition "Archipelagos reinvented." It is designed by curator Emma Lavigne. The Foundation is a partner of FIAC and supports the program YCI (Young Curators Invitational), which each year invites young curators and art critics to meet the players in the Parisian art scene (artists, galleries, collectors ...).
